Sexy photos of women in bikini. Look at them well, because that's not what you think ...

Especially in the summer, we are used to seeing in all the media sexy and slim women in bikinis who barely cover their breasts. Monokini 2.0 has decided to use precisely that way of showing female bodies to send a different message: the photographic project uses the codes of beachwear to show women with only one breast, due to tumors and mastectomies, wearing sexy bikinis showing off just the missing breast.

After all, it's as Kylie Minogue says: you can be sexy even after cancer.

The creator of the social photography project is Elina Halttunen, who has perfected the idea of a bikini that deliberately shows off the missing breast, covering the other, starting from herself: Elina underwent a mastectomy after discovering that she was have breast cancer, and after having this idea she managed to involve other models in the project. "I don't intend to hide", said Elina, "I don't want to undergo heavy surgery to put on a prosthesis and I don't want to go to the beach with the prosthesis . I want to swim and feel free as before cancer, and I don't want to feel embarrassed about it! "

The project was so popular that other Finnish designers joined in, creating these particular bikinis and showcasing them via brave models, all breast cancer survivors. The "intent is to show how" one can be beautiful, and feel complete, even with only one breast, or with neither of them ".
