The sex counter at the university

The students of the University of L'Aquila have recently had at their disposal Doctor SeCS, a desk dedicated specifically to sexual and relational problems, created thanks to the clinical and research experience of Prof. Emmanuele A. Jannini, founder and coordinator of the Master's degree in "Psychology of Deviance and Sexology", andrologist and medical sexologist, President-elect of the Italian Society of Andrology and Sexual Medicine (SIAMS), Secretary General of the Italian Society of Endocrinology, as well as member of the Board of Directors of the International Society for Sexual Medicine, and his collaborators, Doctors Giacomo Ciocca, Erika Limoncin and Daniele Mollaioli.

An excellent example of what should be a service that is always free and within reach of students, both university and non-university, who, starting from adolescence, may not infrequently need even only advice, consultancy and support in a delicate but fundamental area for their growth, as well as the sexual one.

With this in mind, Dotcor SeCS, was created to accommodate difficult requests for help for sexual, emotional, relational problems, sexual orientation and gender identity, as well as the stories of abuse that are consumed in the family or in the fabric. in which the children are inserted.
