Adorn the lobby with classic Christmas trees? Too mundane choice for the Liberty Hotel in Boston. In fact, in the structure the Christmas trees are upside down and dangle from the ceiling creating a fantastic cascade of lights and decorations. The original choice, carried out by creative director John LaRoche, made the structure unique in its kind, so much so that the lighting of the trees (which takes place on November 26) is experienced as an event by the whole city.
