A golden thread against counterfeiting
Counterfeit garments, the so-called "fake" or "fake", are now widespread and it becomes increasingly difficult to identify them. They are very similar to the originals and are present in every sector (clothing, accessories, footwear and leather goods). There must be a way to avoid falling into their trap.
One solution seems to be the one that comes from the innovation introduced in the textile field by the Lardini fashion house: a thread coated with chromatic ink composed of gold fluorescent single particles, whose presence
it is detected in the laboratory by X-rays. The use of this fiber could be able to definitively defeat an "evil" that affects the whole world of fashion, allowing you to distinguish original and non-original garments.
It is a method still being tested but which gives some hope in the possibility of safeguarding the uniqueness and irreproducibility of the products.
