Free time with your children? Find out how to best organize it!
The free time of our children must serve them to feed their creativity and socialize with other children by sharing those simple and timeless games of the past that stimulate communication.
Let's not fossilize them inside the house and push them towards these relationship activities, like a sport to be practiced for example, always within the right limits, however, without engaging them every day as if they had an agenda for appointments with schedules to be filled daily; relaxation and rest are important, especially if they have already started school, so every now and then a bit of healthy idleness at home can be there.
Share games and hobbies with them
It is important that our children see us not only as an educational guide but also as playmates, especially when they are younger. We dedicate at least an hour of our day to play with them and to read together the fairy tales that we were passionate about during our childhood, attracting their attention with colorful and curious images of the protagonists.

Another good idea would be to share creative hobbies with them such as creating flowers with papier-mâché or making small sculptures with salt dough, accustoming them to the dexterity of always current DIY jobs that will never die.
Play alone
Playing in company is nice but it is also important that they do it alone especially when they are children: it is wonderful to hear them talking with imaginary friends and inventing imaginative stories.
Sometimes a few simple puppets are enough to feed their imagination and not too sophisticated and electronic toys that only serve to empty the wallets of the parents. Let's not get them used to having too many and always being satisfied in their requests; they would end up not appreciating anything and soon getting tired of anything.
Sports and extracurricular activities
As children grow up and especially when school starts, parents try to keep their afternoons busy with sports or other activities to let them vent a little after the hard work on books. Good idea but as long as the choice of "activities to be carried out are also shared by children and are to their liking.
Some parents impose certain sports only because they were a passion of theirs as children and would like to pass it on to their children, even making them participate in competitions and competitions that at this age greatly dampen the true sense of a "sporting activity."
For trophies and prizes there is always time: in the early years sport should only serve as a pastime to socialize and relate to others and not be taken seriously as a commitment with objectives to be achieved. Failure to win or qualify could seriously affect the sensitivity of children who at this age should only think about having fun carefree.
