Wedding on the Acropolis? Now you can
If you answered yes to both questions, then you could consider getting married right on the Acropolis of Athens. The Greek government, after having started the rents of its archaeological heritage to face the serious economic difficulties of the country, has now given the green light also to the wedding with the Parthenon background.
The rate? It starts from the daily ones of 1600 euros, if you choose to remember the most important day of your life with a photo shoot among the columns of the Greek temples, or a ceremony between buildings with thousands of years of history.
And to think that until a year ago it was almost impossible even to obtain the authorization to make films on the Acropolis; in the past only Francis Ford Coppola and Nia Vardalos had received permission from the competent authorities.
