Are you short? It may be more difficult to lose weight

Almost everyone knows how easy it is to gain weight, exactly as we all know that losing weight quickly and in a stable world is essentially more tiring. But if each metabolism is unique, is there any difference between taller and shorter stature people? Maybe yes. On the other hand, you can lose weight by shopping, here's how:

Because the shorter ones would have a harder time losing weight

According to Craig Primack, president of the American Obesity Medicine Association, shorter women have a slower metabolism. This would be the result of the smaller amount of lean mass present in small people. The average woman has a basal metabolic rate of 1,400 calories per day, well, those of short stature (we are talking about a stature of about 1.50 meters) has a rate of 1,200 calories per day. This translates into: the smaller a body is, the less energy it needs. Perfect, but the less energy it consumes is also. This would slow down the metabolism for those of short stature.
