JRE National Congress, in Udine

Emanuele Scarello passes the baton to Andrea Sarri, chef and owner of the Agrodolce restaurant in Imperia, who declared: "For me, who dreamed of being one of the Young Restaurateurs even before entering the gastronomic guides, it is an honor to be the spokesperson and representative of all the members of the association ".

A new chapter therefore, starting from the guide itself which for 2012 is tinged with red, the year that sees the entry of new young chefs who become part of the large JRE family which reaches 85, of which 57 are ordinary members and 28 fees.

Here are the new "born":

Marianna Vitale, from the Sud restaurant in Quarto (NA) who, together with her sommelier husband Pino Esposito, chose to bring haute cuisine to what is usually considered a peripheral city.

Antonia Klugmann, of the restaurant L "Argine di Dolegna del Collio (GO), advocate of a real sustainable catering thanks to the philosophy of the proximity gardens from which it draws the ingredients it uses in its cuisine.

Fabrizio Ferrari, of the Al Porticciolo 84 restaurant in Lecco, with his cuisine that revolves mainly around fish that is reinterpreted with imagination and with graceful oriental influences, as well as accompanied by a selection of over 180 labels designed to enhance every single creation.

Marianna Pillan, from the Zenzero restaurant in Grumolo delle Abbadesse (VI), who chooses zero-kilometer ingredients to interpret the territory in a contemporary way.

Christian Milone, from Trattoria Zappatori in Pinerolo (TO), a young promise of Piedmontese catering who projects the restaurant into the world of excellence and gastronomic innovation thanks to his modern vision.

Arcangelo Tinari and Angela Di Crescenzo of Villa Maiella in Guardiagrele (CH), who have transformed the restaurant from a family trattoria to one of the most renowned restaurants in Abruzzo.

In short, a 2012 that begins with many new features and undoubtedly promises to be full of events and initiatives not to be missed.
