The pink asparagus in Mezzago

For connoisseurs or simply for those with a sweet tooth, until the end of May, the rare pink asparagus is celebrated in the streets of Mezzago: an entire festival declined in shows, parties, sporting events, exhibitions and competitions dedicated to the Mezzago product.

An event to enhance the pink asparagus, unique in Italy and in the world. Only in these areas of lower Brianza are in fact grown white shoots with a pink apex which determine the exceptional nature of this particularly prized asparagus.
