From ancient workmanship to contemporary mania for accessories: ceramic never ceases to have luck, and from objects for the home it moves on to a favorite material for design objects of all kinds, preferably wearable.
The trend of ceramic accessories has in fact started for a while, and shows no signs of disappearing, proof of the good resistance and appeal of this elegant material. Who said, in fact, that ceramics cannot become a precious ornament?
This ancestral technique that gives body to objects thanks to a mixture of water and clay, dates back to the mists of time. There is no population that has not made use of it in history: from the Greeks, to the Etruscans, to the Saharan populations to those of the Rising Sun. Whether it is made on a lathe, a colombino or freehand, over time ceramic has become one of the flagships of our cultural heritage. Cities such as Caltagirone, Faenza, Capodimonte, Cava de 'Tirreni, Vietri sul Mare, Santo Stefano di Camastra, Montelupo Fiorentino, are just some of the most renowned Italian sites for the production of ceramics, the differences of which are given by the colors, firings and the mixtures used are the pride of each of the territories to which they belong.
