Bill and Glad have known each other since childhood: he was a friend of her brother, and soon the two fell in love. Since then they have never left.
As Glad approaches old age, she is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, which prevents her from being self-sufficient. So Bill has to do everything: wash her in the morning, feed her, take care of every single, elementary moment of his wife's life. "It doesn't weigh on me at all, it's an honor for me" she says in this poignant video "she has done so much for me over the years, and now that I still can, I give her back all the" love we gave each other. "Bill doesn't not even miss Glad her beloved bike rides: "We've been cycling a lifetime," he continues, "and with this particular chair attached to my bike, I can sit her up and carry her around, so she doesn't have to give up on that either."
"She is my princess, and I am her William", concludes Bill calmly, and even manages to arouse a laugh in Glad, who is always watching and listening to him.
