Same job? Strengthen the couple
A study overturns these beliefs and argues that sharing work increases the couple's chances by promoting empathy and complicity.
The research in question, conducted by the staff of Eliana Monti, a club for singles specializing in the search for a soul mate, reveals that, if the members of the couple do the same job, the relationship has a greater chance of success and stability.
53% of respondents say they fell in love in the past and had an important relationship with a work colleague and that, in fact, sharing the same work environment, instead of creating monotony or boredom, was a positive factor in maintaining passion and dialogue are high.
However, a fairly skeptical slice of interviewees remains: for 27% doing the same job can certainly increase the level of complicity in the couple, but it also risks inducing the opposite effect, flattening the relationship on the same conversations and making them lose sight of other interests. .
