Married vs single: who has more sex?
The answer would seem obvious: singles! It would also be the wrong answer.
One study has in fact overturned the normal belief that singles are more active under the sheets than married couples. According to research carried out by New York University, in fact, stable couples who live together have sex more than singles. The results obtained, published by the newspaper ABC show that 45.8% of people with a permanent partner have sex 2-3 times a week, while only 8% of singles manage to keep up with these rhythms.
If we then consider the annual time frame, only 1% of men and 3% of married women declared that they had not had sex in the previous 12 months, compared to a significant 23% of singles; and the percentage rises to 43% if only non-committed women are considered.
