Relax: what do you need for a relaxing bath?

For a relaxing bath

For your bathroom to be pleasant and relaxing, you are spoiled for choice. Look for oils, bath salts, or bath pearls whose aroma you like the most. Let them dissolve in water and forget about everyday problems.

Add essential oils to your bath: an elixir of pleasure

A few drops of essential oil will be enough to give you a feeling of absolute well-being, to envelop your body in a velvety scent, and to obtain a soft and smooth skin. How to do? Mix 20-30 drops of essential oil in a cup with a product or food that will allow it to become water-soluble; for example, in powdered milk (by choosing this, you will also have the beneficial properties of milk), in two or three tablespoons of honey with natural yogurt or in neutral liquid soap.

A bathroom for every need

- do you feel fatigued and without energy? Opt for an invigorating bath: in cold water, pour a few drops of rosemary essential oil.

- do you feel tense? Chamomile will help you!

- do you want to relax? Go for lavender.

Attention! Pregnant women and children should not use essential oils without precautions: extracts of lemon, orange, grapefruit, cinnamon, clove or mint may prove too irritating for them. Cold water does not allow these oils to release their active ingredients.

Grandma's recipes

Pour 1-2 teaspoons of peanut oil and a handful of coarse salt into the bath water: your skin will come out deliciously smooth. If, on the other hand, your skin is sensitive and does not react well to water, add a handful of cornstarch to your bathroom. Finally, for a goddess skin, pour a few drops of geranium or sandalwood extract into the water.

A revitalizing bath
- Against muscle pain: throw two effervescent aspirin tablets into the water of your bathroom. It remains immersed for about a quarter of an hour. After that you will feel completely relaxed.

- The day after a party: did you drink too much? Headache won't leave you alone? Give yourself a bath, diluting 6-10 drops of juniper essential oil in water.

The art of the bathroom

The ideal temperature for bath water is 37 degrees. Do not stay immersed for more than 15/20 minutes. When you get out of the bathroom, wrap yourself in a bathrobe without rubbing your skin.
