"I have always hidden the right side of my face, the one that has 100 points and 13 interventions. To get over the accident it took some time, it took some love for myself. Then you know with maturity, 50 years and wrinkles, maybe everything begins to be more acceptable ", tells the fifty-year-old singer, who reveals how the difficult period she went through helped her to find herself and discover new sides of herself: "While I was in a hospital in Cosenza, I read an article in a newspaper where there was a photo of me: I saw myself beautiful for the first time. And from that day on I swore not to tell myself that I was ugly. The accident it opened up a new side to me, I rediscovered for example the ironic aspect that I had inside and that I did not fully express, a side that I inherited from my father. So when I found myself in the overturned car, I felt like laughing at my fears , that of throwing up and losing teeth ".
