Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi now married: the two offspring have said yes in the civil ceremony!
After days of waiting, gossip and rumors about this eagerly awaited royal wedding, today, July 25, two of the most important families in Europe have united, thanks to the wedding of offspring Beatrice Borromeo, 29, and Pierre Casiraghi, 27.
The one celebrated today was the civil ceremony, held in the gardens of Palazzo Grimaldi in the Principality of Monaco around 12 in the morning, behind closed doors and reserved for only 70 guests, including close friends and relatives. No pre-wedding catwalk, no official photos, at least so far: a real intimate ceremony and a low profile choice for the two newlyweds.
But the celebrations planned for the evening have nothing to do with this intimate and reserved atmosphere: the guests to the picnic based on finger food and bubbles, strongly desired by Pierre, will be more than 700.
Pierre and Beatrice, who have been united for more than seven years now, have decided to celebrate the religious ceremony instead on Saturday 1 August, on the Borromeo Islands.
