Fun Japan! Marina Rinaldi presents a capsule collection inspired by manga

Milan, time for fashion week, time for events around the city. In the busy calendar there is also an evening not to be missed, the one organized by Marina Rinaldi at the Diamond Tower for 25 September, entirely dedicated to Japan, and entitled Fun Japan.

The occasion is special: the Max Mara Group brand dedicated to curvy fashion asked the designer Tsumori Chisato, a student of Issey Miyake, to create a capsule collection for spring summer 2016. Said, done: the designer presents a collection that has the traits of Japanese culture and the urban attitude of the West, obviously designed for Marina Rinaldi's loyal customers.

But that's not all: the clothes of the capsule collection will then be all to be looked at even when worn by special testimonials, present in Milan on the evening of 25 September. They are the paper heroines of the manga drawn by the Japanese illustrator Britney Hamada, even if calling her "only" illustrator is an understatement. Star of the Rising Sun, actress, pop star, illustrator and true cultural phenomenon, Hamada has created a manga where her heroines, duly curvy, they wear the clothes of the capsule designed by Tsumori Chisato, a manga that will be possible to watch and browse during the Fun Japan evening.

A short circuit of different personalities and creativity, which promises sparks. Waiting to find out more, here are some images from the capsule collection, to transform you too into a "manga heroine, full of curves and crazy irony.
