THE PINK GRAVE OF A LITTLE GIRL IS CONTROVERSIAL ON THE FRENCH RIVIERA

In the cemetery of Le Muy, among the gray and marble monuments, a small tomb draws attention. It is pink and incredibly vital, different from everything that surrounds it. Born premature, Lea passed away on August 26, 2015 due to a heart malformation. He was 3 years old.
His short life was characterized by surgery and hospital stays and for this reason his mother wanted to give color to an "existence now destined to black and white.

Due to the too bright color, the tomb has been defaced several times and this has led to a giant petition to ensure that the monument remains pink and in its place.
The threats and messages of hatred multiplied and so, Lea's mother had to stop fighting: all she wanted was for her baby to rest in peace but it seems that her fellow citizens want to prevent her from doing so.
Now the woman prefers to devote all her attention to her other daughters (Lea's twin sister has health problems) and to other children who have experienced the same uncomfortable situation.
