Interview with Paola Francesca Frasca

Who is Paola Francesca Frasca?
I've always been very lonely, ever since I was a child. It's a bit like my name indicates my destiny. Paola comes from the Latin "Paulus", it means "little" and I was actually the little girl of the family. Like all people who study theater, I had the opportunity to accessing a world that can turn all the cards over, theater has given me the opportunity to take on other identities and to give meaning to important values, such as fantasy.

Who is Beatrice Tomaselli and who is Beatrice Tomaselli above all at 23?
Bea is a girl who, like any girl, has dreams and doubts. She lives thinking about what she wants, she wonders what she will be able to achieve but of course every time she takes a step she ends up questioning it, she wonders if that is really the right choice for her. He has aspirations. As the story begins, she is looking for her way. This is why when he encounters the greater self he asks questions and looks forward to confirmation.

Are there any characteristics of Beatrice Tomaselli in which you recognize yourself?
Bea and I have flexibility and lightness in common, the awareness that even a choice in which we believe, such as a love relationship, can be something temporary, which gives her something in that moment, but which can also be ephemeral. We are also united by the desire to focus on one's life, to experience doubt, in a fresh and light way, never heavy.

What did you bring with you after this interpretation? What have you learned from it and from Beatrice Tomaselli's character?
The beauty of having a future to be written and invented. We young people sometimes let ourselves be stopped by doubts but instead, as the comparison with the greatest Bea showed me, these doubts are nothing but the awareness of being able to choose the future we want, seizing the opportunities that life reserves for us with enthusiasm and confidence in tomorrow.

You are more or less the same age as your character, in your opinion, how important is it to receive good advice in life to make informed choices in the future?
It is very important to have someone who can direct you, but it must be someone you really trust. Very often at this age advice is heard everywhere. In moments of doubt, we all listen and question everything. Good advice gives you a push towards the future, bad advice never has a future.

Would you like to share your final thoughts based on your experience on the short message?
I too wondered what I could have asked of the older me and what I am afraid of not being able to achieve, and I answered myself that more than anything, more than commitment, more than trust, it would be good for it to spread throughout the world. a little more audacity, sometimes taking risks is necessary!
Don't think that all advice is valid. Many tips are and must be followed. In each of us there is an instinctive part, however, from which we must let ourselves be guided in the selection of the right advice for us!

Speaking of good advice ...

For every young person (and very often for adults too) receiving the right advice at the right time is essential to direct their life in the best way. It is equally important to know how to listen and recognize the right advice in order to be able to value it through consistent and conscious choices. Just as happens to Beatrice Tomaselli, the protagonist of the Mediolanum short "Tell me about me", who finds herself an adult, fulfilled and satisfied thanks to the good advice received at a young age.
