The comedian Zuzzurro is dead
Andrea Brambilla, the popular comedian known to the general public under the stage name of Zuzzurro, died yesterday in Milan of lung cancer.
The comedian had been ill for some time and was recently hospitalized at the Cancer Institute in via Venezian, Milan. The news was given by colleague and friend Nino Formicola, Gaspare, who together with Andrea formed one of the funniest comedy couples in the history of Italian television, which saw its most intense period between the eighties and nineties.
