Economic crisis influences food choice
This was supported by an "interesting survey carried out by the" Observatory on Food Consumption of the Iulm University in the Milan area, in two different phases: in 2009 on 22,552 families and in 2011 on a smaller sample of 1,899.
And what emerged? That if before the choices of food were dictated above all by the gluttony, with the passage of time we began to prefer healthier products. This is despite the fact that consumers still do not know how to move safely between labels, brands of origin, provenance, etc.
But something tells us that, as usual, a virtue will be made of necessity and a greater food culture will begin to spread that will allow us to choose foods that are good for both health and wallet.
