8 ways to travel from home: how to unleash your imagination

Anyone who loves to travel, even when they return home, will always remain with their mind connected to the magical world of travel.
I don't know about you but I have a list of at least 20 countries that arouse such curiosity in me that I don't know where to start to find out!
In short, the real traveler has an innate desire to spread his wings and set out to discover distant lands. However, for one reason or another, leaving for a new destination is not possible. The loss of a family member , excessive work, economic problems, the phobia of the plane and even the pandemic (as if that were not enough) can prevent us from traveling even if fortunately not entirely.

Today I want to reveal 8 ways to travel while staying at home that I have personally tested, so that you always keep your mind on this wonderful passion!

1. Travel themed books

Thank goodness so many books have been written about travel! You could try reading "Wild"by Cheryl Stryed, so as to travel with the mind the Pacific Crest Rail, "Shantaram" by David Gregory Roberts, to get to know the Indian people better, "3 cups of tea" by Greg Morteson to climb K2 etc. etc.
Some of these books have inspired my travels so know this is one of the coolest ways to keep traveling from home and to turn those tales into reality once we're all free!


2. Movies about travel

If some books have spurred me on to countries that had aroused incredible curiosity, the films that talk about travel have not been outdone. In 2018 I set off to discover Phi Phi Island, Thailand thanks to the film “The Beach” and “The Hangover 2”, set in Bangkok!
Seeing these fragments of the world on the screen will increase your desire to know a country in the depths of its being and to leave, as soon as possible, to discover that place that made you dream so much!
Other films about travel are: "My Africa", "It's never too late", "7 years in Tibet", "Eat, pray, love" etc, etc ... Take a peek on the web and you will see that you will find lots of them!


3. Documentaries

Staying on the subject of movies, documentaries are a great way to travel from home. You will find out all about the civilizations of your interest, about the inhabitants of the sea or about some species of animals that live on the other side of the world. You will learn all about the different habitats, seeing our wonderful land in all its splendor.
