Face biorevitalization: what it is and what it consists of!

The last frontier of facial rejuvenation treatments, biorevitalization also called biolifting, is a non-invasive aesthetic medicine treatment able to restore elasticity and tone to the skin tissues without resorting to a scalpel. Precisely for this reason, biorevitalization is also called lifting without a scalpel and is increasingly loved and requested by men and women of all ages until today scared of cosmetic surgery. But what exactly happens in a biorevitalization session? The aesthetic doctor injects bio-stimulating drugs into the skin of the face. Very often a highly effective mix of substances is used for this purpose or alternatively pure hyaluronic acid is frequently used, a component of the connective tissue of the skin capable of stimulating the formation of new collagen in the facial tissues. Mineral salts and vitamins are injected together with the active substances, especially those of groups A, B, C and E to restore firmness, hydration and brightness to the skin. This treatment gives the face results that were truly unthinkable up to a few years and is so popular today that it has surpassed other very effective and always non-invasive facial treatments such as the chemical peel based on glycolic acid or salicylic acid.

And if you are afraid of needles, here is the face biorevitalization without needles!

Biorevitalization, as we have seen, is not an invasive treatment and does not require long recovery times, unlike surgical lifting which is a real intervention.
For customers with fear of needles, there is also a type that requires an electro-medical device, which makes the active ingredients penetrate the skin quite deeply, clearly reaching a depth less than that which can be obtained with injections. This treatment method is called microdermabrasion: with this device the active liquid is absorbed by the skin up to a medium depth. Other types of biorevitalization are those that involve the infiltration of a platelet gel into the skin of the face, to accelerate cell regeneration or that with biostimulating threads, which are inserted into the face to give immediate tone and support to the facial tissues affected by skin laxity . (obviously in these cases we are talking about classic biorevitalization, with needles).

What is the difference between biorevitalization and fillers?

Biorevitalization and fillers have many things in common but clearly they are two very different treatments. Both belong to aesthetic medicine and are two outpatient aesthetic treatments. In the case of biolifting, hyaluronic acid spreads in a more homogeneous and widespread manner. This is because biorevitalization uses non-cross-linked, free-fiber hyaluronic acid, which spreads rapidly into the skin layers. The purposes are also different: the filler injects a hyaluronic-based substance into the skin with the aim of plumping wrinkles, fills them to give the face a younger look. Biorevitalization moisturizes the face deeply and with its active action stimulates the natural production of elastin and collagen by the tissues. In addition to a hydrating effect, biorevitalization also has an important anti-oxidant power by acting effectively on wrinkles.

Biorevitalization used together with other treatments.

To enhance the effects of biorevitalization, it is possible to combine this innovative treatment with other types of complementary aesthetic treatments. The first is precisely the filler, which as we have seen is different from the first but for this reason it can be carried out in a combined action to speed up the beneficial results. Another excellent combination to quickly achieve the desired aesthetic purposes is that with radiofrequency, which uses heat to contract the collagen fibers and make the skin of the face compact, luminous and relaxed. Only one session is enough to see the first results but with a complete cycle of sessions the results are stabilized and enhanced. Normally we talk about 8-10 sessions to be done each 10 days apart.

Contraindications of face biorevitalization.

While radiofrequency is contraindicated for pregnant women, pacemaker wearers, heart patients and epileptics, due to the frequencies grafted onto the skin, biorevitalization has significantly fewer contraindications. There are also few side effects, which in some cases are limited to a little redness and bruising. However, these are methods not recommended during pregnancy. Also to be avoided in case of allergies or intolerance to hyaluronic acid which is still widely used in these aesthetic treatments.
The advice is always the same: it is better in any case to rely on expert professionals and highly specialized centers. Biorevitalization like all the treatments we have talked about in this article is performed by aesthetic doctors, a dermatologist or a cosmetic surgeon.

Visible results of biorevitalization.

This innovative technique to rejuvenate the face quickly makes the tissues bright, improves skin turgor, minimizes wrinkles, revitalizes the face making the skin more compact, beautiful and elastic.
Usually, at least 4-6 sessions are required to obtain these results. I remind you that these treatments are painless and non-invasive, they do not require any type of anesthesia because the pain felt is very minimal. Recovery times are very short, the redness that may appear on the skin of the face disappears spontaneously in a few days. In short, a truly innovative anti-aging treatment!

What happens in a biorevitalization session?

If you choose to undergo a biorevitalization session because you are looking for an anti-aging treatment but you do not want to resort to cosmetic surgery, you can be sure that this aesthetic innovation will be able to smooth out facial wrinkles, both those of the mouth and those of expression, also managing to cushion dark circles. The facelift without a scalpel is also useful in case of molasses and dark spots on the face, because it manages to attenuate them. In the case of very present dark spots, however, it is better to choose one of the specific laser treatments for this type of blemish that can solve the problem of dark spots due to the sun or the passage of time. During the outpatient session, a deep facial cleansing, a scrub with stimulating substances and a peeling are carried out to remove dead cells and toxins and allow the active ingredients to penetrate deeply.
