Too much cleaning is not good for children's skin
We are used (rightly) to think of cleaning as something fundamental, but apparently microbes are also useful, especially for children. This is confirmed by recent studies reported by the magazine "Cosmetic and Toiletries science applied", where we read that "Even the little ones are covered with a plethora of forming and already useful microbes that parents, midwives and nurses can modify".
Basically, this "microbiome" is formed on children's skin which would lead to the production of lactic acid and protective ceramides, which the use of some products would put at risk. Products containing polymeric surfactants, aggressive detergents, humectants and some moisturizers, that is all elements that risk interfering on the microbial balance and consequently on that of the skin.
Advice? Use mild cleansers and don't scrub too hard to clean your little one's skin.
