Anissa MakeUp: "I've always dreamed of my own space to talk about beauty and be creative!"

For those who don't know you: can you tell us something about yourself?

My name is Anissa and I am 24 years old. I live with my boyfriend in Milan, I am a beautician and given my great passion for make-up I would like to make a job out of it, so I enrolled in an international school for make-up artists. I can't wait to start! As for YouTube, I was subscribed to a lot of make-up channels, both of American and Italian girls. Whenever I watched one of their tutorials, I always wanted to make one too. And so I did it: I opened my channel, especially because I dreamed of my own space where I could express my personality and creativity.

What does beauty mean for you?

For me, beauty has many meanings: the beauty of a smile, the beauty of a hug between two people, the beauty of seeing two people grow old together. We can all feel beautiful, we just have to recognize it, look inside ourselves, rediscover our strengths and take care of ourselves.

Have you tried the new L’Oreal Paris color: what left you most satisfied?

It was very simple, more than I thought! The result is professional and easy to achieve.

How did you find yourself in addressing the topic of coloring in a video? How was it received by your followers?

It was the first time I tackled this topic in a video, although I have done many DIY coloring in the past. It was very nice to show how easy it is to do a DIY coloring without necessarily going to the hairdresser, I would say that the topic has aroused a lot of interest!

Would you give us your "3 tips" for those who want to try a do-it-yourself coloring for the first time?

Before applying, put a cream (or the one you usually use for the daily routine) on the forehead, near the hair, being careful not to grease the hair too! Wear a plastic bag to avoid getting dirty and last advice: do not have fear of making a mistake, it's really bullshit!
