"Petaloso": little Matteo invents a word and ... the Accademia della Crusca answers!
It is well known that children have an infinite imagination. They make up stories, songs and sometimes they even make up words. This is the story of Matteo and the teacher Margherita, a woman with a decidedly "petal" name.
It happened that in an assignment the little Matteo wrote this unpublished word and it happened that his teacher turned to the Accademia della Crusca where the editor of the linguistic consultancy replied promptly.
On social networks, the word #petaloso has immediately become a trend and hopefully, sooner or later, we will also be able to find it in the dictionary!
