5 "different" but more effective tricks to face the costume test
What would be the hidden drama behind the costume rehearsal? It is not only the showdown with yourself for all the "I should have but I could not / wanted", it is also the moment in which you can no longer lie to yourself about how you are physically and you are "forced" to accept their imperfections (including cellulite and water retention) and make public amends for them. This time we are not offering you slimming and seductive diets, training sessions to get back in shape and miraculous creams, but to look at yourself and start with a smile: it is never too late to fall in love with yourself.
The costume fitting is not impossible and does not have to be a torture, start by choosing a costume that suits you, look:
1. Relax with an afternoon of shopping
Start the week right: take care of yourself. Face creams, sunscreens, swimsuits, sarongs, soft summer dresses, sandals and bags for the sea. By starting shopping, choosing how to look for the new season, how you would like yourself for the summer, you can not only accept your body more easily but also think about how to manage it with more enthusiasm. Pampering is good for the mind and also motivates towards a possible need for change: first mental and then physical.

You are whiter than milk, you have just eaten half a kilo of pasta and it occurs to you to try on the costume. Why do you want to hurt yourself? Wear the costume to go to the beach, and wear it as a symbol of freedom and not as a weapon of judgment! And if you really want to wear it first, be it because you're on heels, shine with your friends and you're dressing up to have a laugh!

3. Don't judge yourself for your flaws, but appreciate your strengths
When you finally have to go to the beach and face the dreaded mirror, well, don't immediately look at what you don't love about yourself. Surely we all like to judge what we don't love about ourselves. Don't do it first, choose instead to dwell on your strengths. Appreciate what you love about yourself and highlight it. Remember: no one is perfect. Loving yourself and improving yourself is always positive, but to do so you must know that a number of defects correspond to as many advantages.

4. Be careful what you watch on social media!
The world of media bombards us with images made of a "unique stereotypical beauty. Do not dwell on the (apparently) perfect model. In addition to looking for curvy models who have rehabilitated all sizes, always detach the retouched images from those of real people who you they are next to each other and you will discover that almost no one accepts each other, that everyone finds flaws and that maybe even being NORMAL can be a good option.
5. Decide why you want to take care of yourself
Choosing a healthy diet with proper nutrition, doing regular physical activity, taking care of your skin and moisturizing it, should not be a consequence of the costume fitting. Deciding to take care of yourself should be an a priori choice, and not given by the need to satisfy aesthetic standards (among other things, it is not certain that they can be shared by everyone, the world is beautiful because it is varied). Everyone has to decide how to take care of themselves as they see fit, and this matters much more than just a costume fitting
