Men suffer more from the flu than women: it's true!
We often complain about the excessive whims of our brothers, fathers, companions, boyfriends who, as soon as they start to sneeze, the world seems to be over and they are suffering the pains of hell. We tell ourselves that men are exaggerated, excessive and that they are unable to tolerate pain, even when it comes to simple flu. And what if they really suffer more than us women?
Because men would be more sensitive
The information would come from a Canadian study by Kyle Sue, a professor of basic medicine at Memorial University in Newfoundland. The reasons that would lead men to be more sensitive to the flu would all be in testosterone, which would weaken the human immune system. The male immune system, therefore, would not only be more likely to contract the flu, but also to develop complications inherent to the disease up to more serious respiratory complications. As for women, however, especially those not yet in menopause, they would be able to fight colds and fever better than others.

If you want to avoid overwhelming the complaints of your men, good hygiene, washing your hands often, avoiding contact with eyes, nose and mouth are good habits to adopt. In general, try to limit contact with those who are already sick or have symptoms. Get plenty of sleep, avoid stress and, in general, maintain a healthy lifestyle that strengthens your metabolism. And finally, attention to nutrition, which is complete, that is, rich in fiber, proteins and vitamins. And if, on the other hand, your men should catch the dreaded flu, don't worry: rest, water and paracetamol will solve the most serious tragedies.
