In the 1980s, there was a real boom in make-up: the craziest colors, the most extreme combinations, contrasts and color-block, which inevitably wins over the nuances. We can say that make-up undergoes a real revolution, also thanks to the intervention of the make-up artist Kevin Aucoin: the face is redefined in the volumes thanks to the contouring, as well as the eyes and the look that acquires new life with the use of eyeliner and glitter. For the lips, the frost effect is very popular, which consists in the use of a gloss or a transparent lipstick with an "icy lips" effect. Finally, the eyebrows in the 80's makeup are quite wild and natural and all the make-up is completed with the strobing technique.

FACE BASE

  • Now apply the blush trying to mark it in the contours and preferring very bright and bold colors. Bring the blush up until it blends with the eyeshadow color and continue up above the temples.

  • Blend a black pencil towards the outer corner of the eye, or draw a thick line of eyeliner, for a sexy and edgy look.
  • Apply the black pencil was also in the inner rhyme and finish with 3 coats of volumizing mascara.

LIP
Lipstick is the perfect product to recreate 80s-style lips. Many brands at the time created their own color palettes to be able to indulge themselves even by mixing them together.
The bright colors were certainly the most popular, but brick, brown, dark purple, shades of pink and fuchsia, matte or pearly (for the frost effect) were also appreciated.
