Find out which countries are best for mothers and children
Who are the happiest moms in the world? This was revealed by the annual Save the Children report which places our country in 11th place (last year we were 17th) and Norway and Sweden on the podium.
Once again Northern Europe is at the top of the ranking of countries in which economic, political, health and social conditions guarantee the well-being of mothers and their children. In sub-Saharan Africa, on the other hand, we find the countries that rank at the bottom: in the rear Somalia, preceded by the Democratic Republic of Congo and, on an equal footing, Niger and Mali, which obtain very poor scores for each of the 5 indicators on which the ratio of Save the Children: maternal health and risk of death by childbirth, well-being of children and mortality rate within 5 years, level of education, economic conditions and GDP per capita and political participation of women in government.
