Francesco's exploratory walks

The couch potato in me does nothing but tempt me "to hibernate" in the cold months, but I must say that I try hard enough and I impose myself not to indulge too much that part of me that would live in front of the fireplace with wool slippers on my feet until almost April: it would do neither me nor Francesco any good.

His pediatrician always recommends me to take walks in the open air even in the middle of winter and claims that the more children remain closed in the 4 walls of the house, the more they are prone to get sick. So, despite the cold of this period, I armo of courage and super covered with hat and scarf we go out for our walks in the open air, as soon as the weather permits.
My stroller is that of the StyleGo Up Trio and I must say that it is very comfortable for people like me who often don't have help during the day. First of all it closes with one hand and stands up on its own and this is already a good thing. Then it is very agile and easy to "drive": the single handle allows me to carry it even with one hand (which is important if I even have to answer the phone!).

Outside the home Francesco is happy and very good: he is an attentive and curious observer and during our walks he is always on the lookout for any news. Last week we were in the municipal villa of our village, a stone's throw from home, easily reachable on foot with the stroller. We walked around for two hours and Francesco never complained, on the contrary ... in the end he is nice and comfortable in his stroller, protected by the warm footmuff and with a super padded backrest that I immediately liked (and that he also likes seeing his long naps!). In the very first walks I had kept the stroller turned towards me but I immediately understood that he wanted to look at everything around him and so I turned the stroller towards the street ... he was very happy!
And so I discovered that even the walks in winter can be pleasant, especially if in the company of my little one!

And now, me and little Francesco, who stops us anymore?

If you can't wait to take long walks with your baby on the way, it's time to start thinking about choosing the right trio.
Our Sara from di Gingiorgina - 24 hours a day mom, explains to you what a trio is and how she chose the one that best suited her needs and those of little Filippo and Olivia.

Trio what?

One of the first choices that future parents find themselves having to make before the arrival of their child is that of the wheelchair: a choice to which a lot of time is dedicated, as for the purchase of a new car, because it will be the first means of locomotion of their little one.

The purchase of the trio has worked a lot for years and, in fact, the first question that most other mothers ask you when they discover that you are expecting is: "What trio do you buy?" And often the answer of a woman who does not have still explored the world of prams and strollers is: "sorry ?? Trio what? "
I still remember when they mentioned the word "trio" ... I tilted my head and said: "EHHHH !? What do you mean? In which sense?"
They talked to me about it all the time and so I began to inquire, asking for explanations, trying different models ... and I understood why all my mothers friends were cheering for the purchase of a trio: it is the best solution to have, from the birth of the baby, the "whole package ready to use and - let's face it - to save as much as possible!
The Trio is, in fact, composed as follows: it has a frame (the structure with the wheels), above which you can mount the carrycot (or the wheelchair), which is used to carry the newcomer for a walk in the very first months, the car seat (also known as an egg), for car trips for the little one in comfort and safety and the stroller that is usually used up to the child's three years ... here is the convenience, even of space!
The first time I went to the shop, the saleswoman told me that each mother chooses the Trio according to different needs: if she has a rather small car or a narrow lift, she looks for the model that can fit in easily, if she travels often with vehicles in the city are looking for one that is convenient to transport and open ... in short, every mother has her requests and, as I said, the purchase becomes as complex as that of a car, with several variables to be evaluated.
For my first child, Filippo, I wanted a "4-wheel drive": I knew I would give birth between June and July and so I looked for a frame with wheels that are also suitable for sand and, in fact, I did nothing but walk on the beach, back and forth, for hours and hours ...
Imagine me all day by the sea in search of the breeze, in the hope that the baby would sleep peacefully all the time and with the conviction to dispose of the extra pounds taken during pregnancy. I had met all the lifeguards in the area, and I admit that I really didn't like it ... too bad they saw me only as a mother with still post-partum bacon ... EHEHEH!
Then when Olivia was born, I had Filippo in my arms, and she in the wheelchair, therefore with one hand
I pushed Olivia and with the other I supported my lazy son who was 2 years old
he didn't have half of walking, which is why I taught him to push
his sister, and I noticed that by giving him responsibility the situation had fortunately improved slightly over time, but most of the time we zigzagged and it took more or less an hour to walk a kilometer of road ... delirium, especially for me that I have never known patience!

There are, however, three characteristics that all future mothers look for: lightness, practicality and safety. And we must also like it! As well as the car!

To mothers about to choose their own Trio I recommend Chicco StyleGo Up, I was lucky enough to try his stroller and it is really comfortable: first of all it is agile, easy to drive and only 50 cm wide, which allowed me to go where I used to get stuck throwing repetitive curses, closes with one hand and stands up on its own, which I definitely appreciated ... and it's also stylish, so when you get around, the "cool" stroller will compensate for the still swollen tummy from
postpartum! On the safety side, with this new trio you can choose the traditional baby carrier or the i-Size approved car seat and this possibility was not there before!

Choose well because it will have to last even for the 2nd-3rd-4th-5th child ... So the quality,
practicality and comfort are essential in the choice!
