Liquid lipstick matte: what it is and for whom it is suitable

The new frontier for a state of the art matte lip make-up are the matte liquid lipsticks, ie lipsticks that look like gloss in the package and in a particularly creamy texture, but which give an extra matte, high-coverage and long-lasting finish.
Highly pigmented and usually enriched with firming actives that take care of your lips at the same time like shea butter, matte liquid lipsticks feature a formula that flows smoothly and dries to a completely matte finish that stays soft and supple for hours. As for the normal rossetii with a matte finish, the matte liquid lipsticks are ideal for enhancing a large and fleshy mouth because, unlike the shiny or gloss ones, they do not make it vulgar or exaggerated.
Having said this, it should be emphasized that the matte, due to its characteristics, is not always good for everyone. Opaque lipsticks should be chosen according to the complexion, hair color and, of course, the thickness of the lips.
If you have fair skin, you can dare a fairly wide color palette, but avoid bright red tints (they would highlight imperfections) and even shades of nude that would give you a sickly look.
On the other hand, the orange tones are excellent. If your skin is dark, go for strong shades as well: purple, burgundy and raspberry red.
As for the hair color, if you are brunette, go for bright red or purple, if you are blonde with a light complexion, choose between shades of pink and fuchsia and if your hair is brown, do not feel too constrained, practically all colors will suit you.
