The color trend for autumn
Pantone, the undisputed leader of chromatic fashions, has announced the color palette that will set the trend for autumn / winter 2013-2014. The colors will be, following the latest releases of the catwalks, more versatile and subject to experimentation. Emerald green - color of the year 2013 - will maintain its dominance but to add to the palette there will be unexpected colors, such as Mykonos blue, Acai purple, Linden green, Deep Lichen Green, Samba red, Turbulence gray, Carafe brown, Koi orange and Vivacious pink.
These colors, even if unisex, are more easily connected to the feminine sphere. The nuances can be combined or be the protagonists of a single look. Autumn purple can easily close in a seductive style, while blue, which in this case has the depth of the Greek sea, or chocolate-colored brown, can combine and thus revive thanks to Samba red or Koi orange.
Each color has its own properties. For those who do not want to give up radiating light, the mix of green and yellow of the Linden green is perfect. The classic style, on the other hand, is the submission of Turbulence gray to the cuts of traditional clothes, but a Vivacious pink accessory gives it liveliness. For those who are nostalgic for black and its ability to make up for a lack of imagination, this season you have to settle for blue, gray and brown. How to combine these colors? Gray and red; blue and emerald; brown and orange. That's all, and that's it.
