It's Milly's chic headwear for women facing cancer

From a woman who has managed to reach awareness and find the strength that she has always had in herself, there can only be lessons and important projects. We are talking about Milly, but also about many other women who have bravely faced breast cancer. Women like the beautiful Lysandra.

The story of Milly and her project that guides women to self-discovery

"One day I woke up without hair, but that day I decided never to give up two things, the joy of living and the love for beauty, I decided not to use wigs or scarves, but to adorn my head in unique and fun way, trying to bring out the "uniqueness that is in each of us!"

This is how Milly tells how her project It "s Milly was born, a collection of chic headdresses that the artist defines as" fun and irreverent "and which she makes by hand (here the link of the Facebook page).
Milly's hats are designed and created on the needs of their patients. They range from what you can wear every day, to the most eccentric headdress, for an evening or for a special occasion like a ceremony.

But the designer's project is not limited to clothing. Since last year Milly has begun to collaborate with the noble initiative "Salute allo Specchio", promoted by the "San Raffaele Hospital.
This is where Milly meets and helps other women who, like her, are suffering from cancer. It is on these occasions that he gives them the strength to rebel against the disease, reminding them how important it is to take care of their femininity without ever neglecting oneself, even on the hardest days.
If you look at yourself with the right make-up and headgear, you will finally return to see the light of your own beauty and, with this, the strength to react.

This is how Milly has faced and overcome breast cancer which, thanks to the successes obtained by the research, is increasingly close to 100% curability:

"I used to go around my area or to the events that invited me, with some It's Milly on my head, always made up with the right earrings, and so many people didn't understand, or at least they weren't so sure what I was going through, I could be even an artist, a stylist, a cantate for some, not necessarily a woman in chemotherapy! "

Cancer made Milly discover that she was much stronger and more capable than she had ever known before, so much so that she went so far as to say "THANK YOU" to the disease she was able to cope with much better than she could have imagined.
After discovering cancer, Milly did many things she never would have thought of before; how to run in the Pink is Good project, in support of breast cancer research, help other women who have lived the same story thanks to Salute to the Mirror and discover a new passion and a new Milly.
A Milly with new looks, a new job she loves, new friends and many new and ambitious projects. A Milly who has a lesson and advice to give us:

"Life changes according to the point of view from which you look at it, sometimes the unforeseen events of the monopoly can become opportunities, it depends only on you! And when you don't know what to wear, wear an It's Milly and you are immediately glamorous".
