Arrange the stones on the bottom of the jar, keeping a flat one that you will need later. Add the sand, which will drain the water and the soil up to about halfway through the pot. Lay the moss down last, being very careful not to break the clods. Try to arrange the moss so that the back part is slightly higher, creating a small bump.
© -We break a toothpick into small pieces just over an inch long. We glue them on the stick with a drop of vinyl glue. We make sure that they are spaced apart, creating the illusion of a small staircase. It will become a tree of our landscape.
© -We cut a small rectangle from the Styrofoam tray. The approximate dimensions are two centimeters in width by three in height. It will become the door to the fairy house. We color it with red nail polish. We wait for it to dry and with a silver enamel we trace the design of the handle on the door and also want a fantasy decoration.
© -We make colorful flowers for the fairy garden. We take the toothpicks and insert the buttons. They stop on their own without going over the tip of the toothpick. We can use one button at a time, or two together, alternating the color combinations. These flowers will be inserted into the moss.
© -The hidden house is celebrating. We make a colorful festoon to hang on the tree. We need the beads, needle and thread. We can insert the colors at random, it will give a more spontaneous idea. The beaded thread needs to be about ten centimeters long. Securely fasten the thread to the closure, cutting the excess part.
© -With the toy car wheel we prepare a swing for the fairies to hang from the tree. It is necessary to remove the tire from the wheel. We cut the thread, taking a piece of at least 20 cm long. rotate, threading the knot in the loop of the thread. After positioning the tree, it will be possible to adjust the thread of the swing by making a new closing knot.
© -The glue for the tree rungs will have already dried and we can proceed to assemble it. We knot the festoon of beads on the branches and attach the swing. The tree is ready to be placed in the pot.
© -The elements are all ready, we can proceed to arrange them in the vase. We place the door of the house in front of the mound of earth and moss, with a flat stone in front as a doormat. With the sand we can draw a small path that leads to the hidden house. We thread the button flowers a onto the fake moss lawn. The tree with the festoon and the swing will be placed on the back of the door. To beautify the little world we can add a spontaneous plant that is not too tall.
© -The magic of the fairy world has thus found its place in a jar. It can stay in our homes, as long as you don't forget to water the moss every day with a few drops of water. There will be stories of fairies to read in the evening, dreaming that that little red door will one day open.
