#Lazonarosa: how to survive until the next trip
Travel. One of the most difficult sacrifices we are subjected to. The holidays are approaching and our thoughts are already projected towards the summer. This year, however, everything is different. In this difficult moment we are called, without exception, to great sacrifices for our own good and that of others. For the moment the movements are absolutely narrow and reduced to the necessary and soon it will be possible to move, staying in Italy.
This is an excellent solution to shake off negative thoughts and focus on everything that we will go back to doing once the emergency is back. So, here are some simple steps to psychologically survive this situation and hold out until the next trip!
# 1 Choose your destination
Obvious, right? You can touch a random point on the globe, or select a destination according to certain parameters: your personal tastes or those of any travel companions, the safety of a certain place if you want to leave alone, the time available to you and, above all, the budget.
Take a look at the offers on sites like lastminute.com or volagratis.it
They are sure portals that in these uncertain times they will surely be able to guide you better in planning your future holidays!
# 2 Get a culture!
Given and considering that we still have a little bit of time available, it seems right to me, once the destination has been chosen, to read up on the local culture of the place. Watch documentaries to learn about their history, search for information on the internet, learn about customs and traditions so as not to arrive unprepared. I recommend, however, not to overdo it; in fact, it is important to indulge in the pleasure of discovery even while traveling which, as we know, is an experience that must enrich and not just entertain. P.S. do not forget to take note of the typical dishes and the best restaurants in which to taste them because, culture is fine, but the appetite comes when traveling!
# 3 Plan!
That planning a trip takes a long time is objective, so why not get busy now that our routine has changed and certainly less hectic? Browsing the internet, you can consult countless travel blogs with useful information and valuable advice. Collect them and write down a list with the stops you want to touch and the means by which it is advisable to move.
# 4 Save up!
Let's look on the bright side, in the last three months, we could only go out in cases of extreme necessity, having fewer opportunities to spend our money. And what better time to save than in anticipation of a future trip? Grab a piggy bank (see the travel-themed ones on Amazon, for inspiration) and put in it all the money you would normally have spent if you went out. Cappuccio and croissant in the morning, coffee after lunch, an aperitif with colleagues and a drink on Saturday evening. If, on the one hand, our social life has cried, on the other hand our wallet laughs heartily.
