How to clean the air conditioner filter

Warning: the filter must always be disinfected and cleaned before turning on the air conditioner, as it collects dust and bacteria by its nature. Only with a good cleaning can you eliminate the supply of bacteria inside. Here's how to do it: first of all, the filter must be gently disassembled. After having dusted it carefully, wash the nylon mesh with warm water and neutral soap, then pass a mixture of water and wine vinegar (by its nature disinfectant and degreaser) or warm water and bicarbonate over the filter. Once you have rinsed the filter, leave it to dry in the open air, away from the sun. Before putting it back in its place, also clean all the air outlet vents and ducts of the air conditioner. Warning: an unclean filter can lead to to the spread of bacteria in the air. Always consult a specialist to get all the appropriate advice or to get help.
