Dry skin? All the tips to hydrate the skin at its best!

Having a soft and well hydrated skin is definitely a desire of every woman, especially for those who find themselves struggling with dry or easily dehydrated skin.
To moisturize the skin in the best possible way, surely a good cream is the starting point; it ensures the epidermis not only all the substances it needs to stay on top, but also provides an excellent protective barrier against external agents and everything that can damage and dry it in some way.
In addition to this, there are also simple tips to follow to ensure the right hydration to the skin.
Here are 5 to follow consistently.

1. Drink a lot and often

Perhaps the most trivial advice, but also the one we often forget to follow.
Our body is composed of 70% water, it is natural that for a hydrated skin the first basic step to follow is to drink a lot.
In this way it will act directly on the organism from the inside. Drinking the proverbial two liters of water, as well as being good for a whole series of health-related reasons, such as the expulsion of accumulated toxins, helps the skin to be supple and prevent the appearance of wrinkles. The more water you ingest, the more water will be available to your skin.
If the water really does not go down, opt for herbal teas and infusions, but no sugary, carbonated or rich in dyes drinks.

3. Dry skin? Make a honey mask

A dry skin has a thin and fragile appearance, it appears visibly inelastic, dehydrated and flaky, and after cleansing it tends to "tight". Often sensitive, dry skin generally manifests phenomena of premature aging: not surprisingly, many more wrinkles are often observed in dry skin than in oily skin.
To give the correct dose of hydration to an epidermis with these characteristics, even a hyper-nourishing mask can help. In fact, it would be good to insert a face mask at least once a week in your beauty routine that allows you to cleanse and moisturize, enhancing the effect. of the cream.

A simple but very effective remedy is to use honey just like a mask, leaving it on for at least thirty minutes and then rinsing with fresh water: the feeling of comfort will be immediate! 4. If you have dry skin, do not shower too hot

Let's take a step back. Before applying the cream, you usually take a shower or a bath; in fact, when it is cold outside, or we are returning from a stressful working day, the temptation to indulge in the enveloping jet of boiling water to warm up is very strong, but also harmful especially if our skin is dry.
In fact, temperatures that are too high contribute to dehydrating and drying the skin further. This doesn't mean you have to use ice water! Just make sure you don't turn your bath or shower into a sauna or steam room.

And if you have the opportunity to treat yourself to a relaxing bath, add ten glasses of milk to the water, you can use either the classic cow's milk or the goat's or donkey's: its emollient properties help smooth the skin and maintain its elasticity.

5. How to hydrate the skin with nutrition

Even what we eat can help the skin to always be perfectly hydrated.
Diet against dry skin must first of all take care to preserve hydration. This is why it is advisable to eat mainly omega 3 and omega 6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are found mainly in fish, almonds, walnuts and oil. In fact, these nutrients strengthen cell membranes and are useful for reducing water losses.

Other cornerstones of the anti-dehydration diet are fruits and vegetables, which contain a lot of fluids, but also minerals and vitamins that are precious for the well-being of the skin.
In particular, you must not miss the right doses of vitamin A, contained above all in orange or dark green leafy vegetables and in some foods of animal origin, such as eggs, butter and cheeses.
