Carefully divide the garments by color, fabric and type of stain. You will lose a few more minutes for sure but it is certainly worth it because you will not run the risk of ruining your clothes. If you wash everything together, the garments could get faded ending up staining each other with a truly devastating effect! So first divide the light clothes from the dark ones, and all from the colored ones. Do not mix every color: red, orange and pink garments usually stain a lot and it is best not to combine them with other colors. If, on the other hand, you are short on time and prefer to wash clothes of different colors all together, use the color catcher sheets for your laundry. They are practical and avoid color stains, but it is always better to at least avoid mixing whites and colors to have really clean and bright whites!

The temperature to use varies according to the type of fabric of your garments. Many washing machines offer you fabric-based programs with pre-set temperatures. If your washing machine is manual, do not despair: first look carefully at the washing labels of the different garments, the recommended temperature may be indicated. Washing at high temperatures does not always mean cleaning better: if the temperature is too high, for example, you risk discoloring colored garments or damaging them. Much better in case of doubt to follow this simple rule, 60 degrees for cotton, white and dark laundry items, as well as for sheets, towels. For sweaters, trousers and shirts, it is best to wash cold at 30 degrees. Instead, you can wash cotton garments at 40 degrees that often get stained like tablecloths, you won't believe it but temperatures that are too high fix the stains making them more stubborn!
The right detergent
Choose the detergent you prefer and put it in the special compartment and if you want to use fabric softener to perfume and soften your clothes, add it to the compartment before starting the wash. Make sure you choose a good fabric softener, which does not smell too strong and that doesn't bother you to wear! Never exceed with detergent and fabric softener, follow the instructions on the package. If the garments you want to wash in the washing machine have stubborn stains it is better to pre-treat with a specific product to act a few minutes directly on the stain before proceeding to normal washing. Do not wash stained clothes together with "almost clean" laundry that only needs a refresh: and in general always make a separate washing machine for particularly dirty items (such as shoes, cat and dog accessories or dishcloths ) not to be mixed with linen! The cleaning of clothes is as important as that of the whole house!

No to bad smells
Take care of your washing machine and keep bad smells away for a long time! The washing machine, like any other appliance, must be cleaned regularly with the right products to eliminate bacteria and limescale from the drum and from the innermost parts. Residues of detergent and fibers usually deposit here, which in addition to the hardness of the water can give rise to unpleasant surprises.
Sole Cura Washing Machine Express is the specific treatment that removes dirt and bacteria, eliminating bad odors even at low temperatures. Its concentrated sanitizing formula is also effective in short cycles to always ensure a fresh scent, every time you open the washing machine door.
The merit is of citric acid and lactic acid which together with the descaling surfactants prolong the health of your washing machine.
Remember: when you do a wash, take out the laundry immediately (put an alert on your smartphone if you think you forget it). Laundry wet with water and closed in the washing machine inevitably creates a bad smell, but if you hang it straight away it will be perfect and you won't have to wash it again!
How many items to wash?
Filling your washing machine with too many clothes prevents you from washing your clothes thoroughly. It may seem strange to you but even if you fill the washing machine too little (unless there is a half load program) you will not get a good result: you will only waste water and energy! Filling the washing machine correctly and without exceeding the limits of the appliance will ensure you clean clothes without waste!

If you wash particularly delicate garments in the washing machine, use the practical perforated bags to protect them during spinning or washing. You will find them in all shapes and sizes and you will surely find the one that will be right for your needs: they will allow you to wash in complete tranquility even the garments that must keep the shape such as bras, costumes or structured dresses. In the same way, you will not risk damaging the washing machine with the metal parts and the hooks of the bra that could come off during the wash. Those would cause a lot of damage!
How to do with wool
Wool must be treated with care. If your washing machine has a hand wash program, or a specific one for wool, you can wash your sweaters without too many risks. In the case of delicate or easy to shrink garments, however, we always recommend that you take them to the laundry to avoid damaging them irreparably.
One last piece of advice that seems trivial but it is not: then there are precious clothes, very delicate or with very particular fabrics that objectively you will never be able to wash at home in the washing machine. Do not improvise and above all do not take risks: for clothes like these, always contact a specialized laundry!
