All the trendy colors of summer 2014: from Radiant Orchid to Placid Blu
Radiant Orchid
It starts with the must-have nuance, the Radiant Orchid, a mix of lilac and fuchsia, a color that is still pastel, but certainly stronger and perfect for spring and summer dresses.
On the runway we saw it especially during the Max Mara show, but similar tones, such as the Violet Tulip, were spotted in the Giorgio Armani collections.

© Pantone Il Radiant Orchid it is not only the color of summer as far as clothing is concerned, but it is a nuance that is well suited to make-up: get ready to see eyes, lips and nails in shades of lilac and light purple.
Dazzling Blue
If Radiant Orchid is too feminine, we're sure this other color will suit you: Dazzling Blue, an almost electric blue but slightly lighter, perfect for maritime looks and everyday wear. It has been seen in the collections by Kenzo, but also in accessories by Gucci and Chanel. Summer color also perfect for emphasizing the eyes with pencils and eye shadows.

On the catwalks, blue was the undoubted protagonist: shirts, dresses, trousers and jackets. Placid Blue is a soft and sober pastel blue. On the catwalks it was proposed with tone-on-tone combinations and with contrasting accessories. Seen on the catwalk of Tod's, Andrea Incontri and again Kenzo.
Hemlock Green
Mint green: the color of spring summer preferred by those who have a weakness for pastel tones and especially by the very young. A nuance that gives even more lightness to ethereal looks. We saw it during the Burberry Prorsum and Zac Posen fashion show.

A pastel gray, neutral for summer office looks, rigorous but not too much. Seen on the catwalks of Chanel and Alexander Wang.
Freesia
Yellow is the summer color par excellence, and for 2014 the precise nuance is called Freesia, just like the flower. A very warm and saturated yellow that illuminates all looks, also perfect for elegant occasions such as weddings.

Cayenne Red
Still vitamin colors with Cayenne Red, not exactly a novelty in the wardrobe, but red is always a welcome return that gives brunettes and blondes. Seen during the fashion shows of Monique Lhuillier, Tommy Hilfiger, Elie Saab.
