Her beloved grandmother has cancer: a 3-year-old girl helps her with great courage
Scout Larson, three, has a great role model: her grandmother! The photographic project that sees Scout protagonist together with some of the most famous women in history, was born when the little girl's grandmother, her Nonnie, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Scout's grandmother was trying to keep her mind busy in a really terrible moment, so she dedicated herself to her granddaughter with the aim of teaching her the meaning of the word courage through the stories of women who have made this value a principle of life. she, who has dealt with breast cancer forcefully and proved to everyone ... by running!
Scout's mother, Ashley Larson, then decided to take pictures of her daughter dressed as her grandmother, "her heroine", in a series of truly touching photographs. In the first photo of the series, Scout wears a shirt that says, "Nonnie is cancer free, let's party!", While her grandmother wears a matching shirt that says, "I'm cancer free!".

But the journey with her granddaughter gave her strength and reminded her too that courage must be found in oneself, as many of these women portrayed have done.
Today Scout has over 50,000 followers on Instagram. Her mother helped her to dress like a series of famous women from Meryl Streep to Malala Yousafzai and kept a book of photos for the child and grandmother, so that, even as she grows up, her daughter can always carry the memory with her. not only about "her fighting heroine" but also what each of us should remember: that every woman is strong and full of beauty, courage, passion and love for life
