This is the reason why Justin Barel wanted to publish some photographs that testify the prisons we undergo on a daily basis.
These photos, dated 2012, were inspired by the photographer's ex-girlfriends who, to feel more self-confident, used to squeeze into very tight garments. Since he has a degree in sociology and photography, he wanted to combine his great passions so that his shots could be a source of inspiration.
The photos are beautiful and make us reflect on how we are willing to make small sacrifices to feel more at ease, although in some cases there would be really no need. But while it is true that women do them naturally, it is also true that there are ways to pamper ourselves that are so simple that they pay off.
