Salt is a simple and absolutely inexpensive element, yet incredibly useful in treating orange peel and water retention. It drains, remodels, detoxifies, deflates, gives elasticity and softness to the skin: in short, it is a real marvel!

Which salt to choose to fight cellulite?

Not all salts are the same and capable of giving the same results. Among the cooking salts, the one that has the greatest beneficial effects for water retention is undoubtedly the whole salt, such as the pink Himalayan salt, a natural and uncontaminated sea salt from seas that disappeared more than two hundred million years ago.

Other recommended salts are Dead Sea salt, characterized by a "high concentration of calcium and magnesium, capable of draining and drying fat pads, and our own salt from Cervia, which eliminates excess fluids and gives vitality.

Salt baths against cellulite: the steps to follow

For a perfect salt bath with anti-cellulite effect, prepare a tub full of hot water (about 38 degrees so that the salts can dissolve them).
Pour half a kilo of whole coarse salt and soak.

To amplify the draining effect you can also use essential oils: those of rosemary, pistachio and juniper are perfect and 5 drops are enough.

To maximize, however, the anti-cellulite power of the salts, opt for oils based on coumarins, substances capable of activating the lymphatic circulation and eliminating toxins. A few examples? Lemon and bergamot. In this case, do not pour them pure, but dissolve a few drops in a tablespoon of milk.

Once everything is prepared, you are ready for a long (at least 20 minutes) warm, detoxifying and anti-cellulite bath. All you have to do is enjoy this moment of complete relaxation!
