Cellulite is caused by a diet low in fiber but rich in carbohydrates and lipids. To make it disappear, therefore, it is important to follow a healthier and more balanced diet. It does not necessarily mean reducing the amount of food but making the correct nutritional choices.

Which foods are best avoided:

- Foods such as cured meats, sweets, fried foods, carbonated drinks, alcoholic beverages. Basically all foods too rich in fats and sugars.

- Salt. Make it disappear from the table and opt for herbs and spices to flavor your dishes, especially parsley and onion.

What foods to eat moderately:

- The oil or butter for cooking. Prefer cooking grilled, baked or steamed. Indulge yourself in raw olive oil, which contains vegetable fats.

- Raw vegetables. Yes, raw vegetables help you lose weight but not fight cellulite, on the contrary: it contains many mineral salts that promote water retention. Choose steam cooking and abound with aubergines, peppers, leeks, cabbage.

What foods to eat regularly:

- Proteins, essentially contained in White meat and in eggs because they contribute to muscle development. Since they are lean, proteins force the body to take energy from fat cells.

- Foods rich in iron, such as lentils. Iron promotes the transport of oxygen in the blood. A drop in iron level can cause fatigue and even some anemias. Avoid coffee at the end of the meal because caffeine absorbs iron.

- Fish and seafood, which contain numerous fatty acids, including the famous ones Omega 3 (salmon is particularly rich in it). These foods have anti-inflammatory virtues and do not swell the tissues.

- Potassium stimulates the lymphatic drainage, that is, it allows to decongest the adipose tissue (Orange peel). Potassium is contained in dried fruit, brewer's yeast and some green leafy vegetables.

- Whole foods such as pasta, rice, cereals or bread, because they absorb toxins and give a feeling of satiety. However rice and pasta are to be consumed with moderation, no more than 3 times a week, especially if you don't play any sports.

- Vitamin C, which is found mainly in fruit, as it strengthens the walls of blood vessels. Kiwifruit can also help you fight stress and improve intestinal transit.

- Red fruits, to drink or eat. They contain the vitamin P which improves blood circulation. These antioxidant foods also promote cell regeneration.

To eliminate waste and toxic products produced by our body it is very important to hydrate by drinking plenty of water. Even the green tea it has beneficial effects, because it limits the absorption of lipids and carbohydrates and fights water retention.
