"Miss Italia" on La7?
Perhaps all is not lost for "Miss Italy". As we all know, the historic beauty contest, after being canceled from the Rai schedules, remained “on foot” on television. Negotiations were underway with Mediaset and then with Sky, which however did not lead to anything. According to some "rumors" the latter "would have run aground also because of the statements of the Speaker of the House Laura Boldrini, who had openly expressed her appreciation for the choice of Rai.
But now La7 comes into play. The network of Urbano Cairo seems to be strongly interested in broadcasting the 2013 edition of "Miss Italia" and adding to the live a sort of "TV process" with characters for and against the competition. It seems that Patrizia Mirigliani has already invited Laura Boldrini to have a direct comparison (who knows if he will accept).
The hope, of course, is that the deal will go through.
