Good news for Twilight fans: the new novel comes out in August

Great news for Twilight fans: on August 4th the novel that will add to the tetralogy, entitled “Midnight Sun”, will be released in the United States (and shortly thereafter, hopefully, also in Italy). The announcement comes from the author herself, Stephenie Meyer, who explains in a short video: "It's a crazy time and I wasn't sure if it was the right time to get the book out, but some of you have been waiting for so long and it didn't feel right to keep you waiting any longer."

A project in the pipeline for years

Fifteen years have passed since the publication of the first novel of the fantasy-vampire saga that has conquered teenagers - and not only - all over the world. Already in 2008 the writer had set to work to write a new chapter, but the illegal publication of a few pages had brutally interrupted the work which, shortly, will finally be completed.

But what do we know so far? In addition to the title, the cover has been released to date, depicting a "bleeding" pomegranate. Furthermore, we are given to know that, this time, the story, a spin-off of what has been told to date, will be told from the perspective of Edward Cullen. After the news, fans were predictably in raptures to the point of clogging up the writer's website. Obviously, everyone expects the film adaptation, given that the previous films have hit the box office, grossing more than 3 billion and 300 million dollars worldwide. We just have one question: Will Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart be there?

The dream of my life has finally come true 😍😍 Thanks Stephenie Meyer !! You made me and all the Twilight fans happy 😍I can't wait to have the book in my hands ❤️❤️❤️❤️ # MidnightSun #StephenieMeyer pic.twitter.com/6VdVNjmnBZ
