EQ test: find out your emotional quotient!
> What is it?
The emotional quotient, theorized recently - in 1995 - by an American psychologist, Daniel Goleman, evaluates the ability of an individual to put into practice a form of intelligence based on emotions. The research carried out by this psychologist shows that professional success is determined by non-technical skills, linked to factors such as adaptability, empathy, resourcefulness, self-esteem, social freedom ... some individuals with a high IQ are not successful in life, while others, less gifted by this point of view, they manage to assert themselves easily by making intelligent use of their emotional abilities.
EQ can be perfected at all ages and can be developed without limits, through very simple exercises, as opposed to the IQ, which stops evolving at the end of adolescence. These two forms of intelligence are by no means incompatible, indeed, they complement each other.
