The Salone del Mobile 2012

The Salone Internazionale del Mobile will take place like last year at the Fiera Milano in Rho, and the only days that will be open to the public will be those of Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April.

The event, as well as for professionals, is in general a point of reference for all lovers of furniture, and a must for the whole world of design at 360 degrees. What makes this event a cult event for inhabitants of Milan and tourists, is also the Fuori Salone, or a series of events or installations in the center of Milan, in particular in the younger and more attentive to new trends such as via Tortona or Brera.

Courtyards, high fashion boutiques, smaller shops and theaters are filled for a week with Italian and foreign visitors, intrigued by installations and projects halfway between pure design and art. Milan in this way changes its face, and becomes a city where it is pleasant to walk on the street all day.

Events

Among the events already announced here is librocielo, an event-path inside the Ambrosiana library, where those who participate will be able to hear and attend real dialogues between talking books, accompanied by beams of light that will guide the "reading".
