"Humoral Recipes" in the bookshop
A gastronomic treatise that combines the pleasure of reading with the love of food and in which thoughts become one with the dishes to be prepared.
A story that sees as the protagonist a student who, by dint of cooking for herself and for others, will slowly begin to reflect on existential issues while slicing vegetables, perhaps in julienne or inventing aphorisms while preparing a cake with pears and cinnamon.
The author lives in Rome, she is an art historian and a freelance journalist. She has also published the essay entitled "Francesca Woodman. The Roman years between skin and film" and has a blog: isabellaspa.blogspot.com.
