Happy anniversary, Rouge in Love!

The French designer, who founded her own brand in 2009, is known for her creations inspired by the graphics of the 40s and 50s and the pin-ups of the time. A single accessory, the rigid clutches, rigorously embroidered by hand, that reflect the covers of ancient books.

Thus was born, in conjunction with Valentine's Day, the Lancôme rigid clutch, which contains the six emblematic shades of Rouge in Love and Vernis in Love: “I wanted to create the cover of a fictional novel called Rouge in Love. A book within a book. It is held by two hands with lacquered nails and red and purple mouths that go around the bag. I love designing mouths, so it was the opportunity I was waiting for ... the buckle and the edge, instead of being gold as in all my bags, are mirrored silver. You can see yourself in the mirror to take a make-up during the evening ".

All of her bags, entirely handmade, require 18 hours of work each and are produced in limited quantities, making them refined and precious objects, also thanks to the embroideries that are revisited in a modern key.
